Als je last hebt van buikpijn, winderigheid, darmkrampen of diarree, dan zou het kunnen zijn dat je last hebt van PDS. PDS is de afkorting voor het prikkelbare darm syndroom (in het Engels ook wel bekend als Irritable Bowel Syndrome, afgekort als IBS). PDS is een veelvoorkomende darmstoornis die ongeveer 10-15% van de bevolking treft. In dit artikel zullen we de symptomen, oorzaken en behandeling van PDS bespreken.
